Prioritizing Mental Health

Imagine with me for a moment. You are in a plane, 30,000 feet in the air. All of a sudden, the oxygen masks fall down indicating some type of emergency. I don't know about you, but the last thing I want to see is the pilot walking around to make sure everyone's masks are secure. HECK.NO. I want that pilot to be the first one with a mask on so they can land the plane safely.

Taking care of yourself first allows you to care for others. This year, I'm practicing putting myself first, in ways that will benefit my family. I made a list of things to say no and yes to this year.

Be kind to yourself. Rest is productive and self-care is not selfish.

Happy New Year!

Keep smiling',

Dori
